1983 Kenner Star Wars ROTJ Klaatu MOC 65-Back Palitoy (UK) Card Silhouette Variant

This 1983 Kenner Star Wars Klaatu action figure is an original Return of the Jedi release, factory sealed on its original 65-back card. Produced for the European market under the Palitoy banner, this example features the Nien Nunb mail-away offer and multi-language packaging characteristic of UK-issued cards from the period.

Klaatu appears in Return of the Jedi as one of Jabba the Hutt’s guards and remains a recognizable background character from the vintage Kenner line.

The figure remains sealed within its original bubble and includes its staff accessory. The bubble is intact with some yellowing. The card shows moderate overall wear, including edge wear and a surface tear in the top right corner from a previously removed price sticker. There is minor veining visible on the front of the card, with the reverse presenting cleanly.

The reverse displays the desirable “Collect All 65” cardback, including an early print detail featuring two silhouetted (blacked-out) figures. These silhouettes correspond to characters not yet finalized at the time of production and are a recognized variation among collectors.

A well-preserved example with strong display appeal, offering a combination of Palitoy packaging and early print cardback detail.
