1983 Kenner Star Wars 8D8 ROTJ 77 Back Unpunched MOC Action Figure

This 1983 Kenner Star Wars 8D8 action figure is an original vintage Return of the Jedi release sealed on its original 77 Back card.

8D8 served as Jabba the Hutt's chief torture droid and was featured prominently within Jabba's Palace during Return of the Jedi. Although not one of the most recognizable characters from the Original Trilogy, 8D8 has become a favourite among collectors completing Jabba's Palace displays and vintage Return of the Jedi character runs. As one of the distinctive droid designs introduced in the film, the character remains a popular addition to many vintage Kenner collections.

This figure presents exceptionally well overall with strong colour, excellent card gloss, and outstanding display appeal. The figure remains factory sealed inside the original bubble, which is firmly attached and retains excellent structural integrity. The bubble has yellowing consistent with age but remains free from dents or cracks.

The card displays beautifully overall and remains unpunched. Surface gloss remains strong on both the front and back of the card, with only the slightest veining visible on the back of the card. An original retail price sticker remains attached to the front of the card and is also in great condition. Overall presentation is significantly cleaner than typically encountered with other examples of this figure.

The reverse features the classic Return of the Jedi 77 Back layout showcasing the expanded Star Wars action figure lineup and vintage Kenner promotional artwork.
