1982 Kenner Star Wars Micro Collection Hoth Wampa Cave Action Playset Complete in Box

Released in 1982 as part of Kenner's Star Wars Micro Collection line, the Hoth Wampa Cave Action Playset recreates one of the most memorable scenes from The Empire Strikes Back. This miniature playset features the icy Wampa Cave environment along with die-cast figures of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, a Hoth Wampa, and a Probot Spy.

This example includes the original Micro Collection box and remains housed in a protective display case. The box presents very well overall with strong colour, crisp graphics, and attractive display appeal. Notable vintage wear is present, including creasing, edge wear, corner wear, a visible horizontal crease across the back panel, and old tape remnants along the sides. A vintage Toys "R" Us clearance sticker remains attached to one side panel, adding a nostalgic retail history element that many collectors enjoy. The proof-of-purchase seal appears intact on the back panel.

The Star Wars Micro Collection line was produced for a short period and has become increasingly difficult to find in complete boxed form. The Hoth Wampa Cave is one of the most recognizable sets in the series and remains a favourite among Empire Strikes Back and Hoth-focused collectors.
