1981 Kenner Star Wars ESB Hoth Wampa Figure with Original Box
Released during the original Empire Strikes Back toy line, the Hoth Wampa is one of the most recognizable creature figures produced by Kenner. Inspired by the opening scenes of The Empire Strikes Back, the Wampa features action arms and was designed to recreate Luke Skywalker's encounter inside the icy caves of Hoth.
This example includes the original Empire Strikes Back box and remains housed in a protective display case. The box retains strong colours and attractive shelf presence, making it an excellent display piece for vintage Star Wars collectors. Notable wear is present throughout, including creasing, edge wear, corner wear, tape residue, surface paper loss on one side panel, and wear to the top flap area. The original proof-of-purchase seal remains present on the back panel.
The Hoth Wampa remains one of the standout creature releases from Kenner's vintage Star Wars line and continues to be a favourite among Empire Strikes Back and Hoth-focused collectors.
