This 1977 Kenner Star Wars Artoo-Detoo (R2-D2) action figure is an original vintage Star Wars release sealed on its original 12 Back-C card.
One of the most beloved characters in the entire Star Wars franchise, R2-D2 remains one of the defining figures of the original Kenner line. Early 12-back releases continue to be highly sought after by collectors due to their significance as part of the first wave of Star Wars action figures ever produced by Kenner.
This figure presents very well overall with strong colour, excellent character artwork, and a clean bubble display. The figure remains factory sealed inside the original bubble, which retains strong clarity. The top right corner of the bubble has a slight lift, as does the very bottom underside of the bubble. The figure remains secured.
The card displays nicely overall with solid vintage eye appeal. Wear includes edge wear, surface wear, visible veining, and some waving noticeable from side angles. The hang tab is punched and the punch is clean with light veining around the hole.
The reverse features the classic 12 Back-C layout showcasing the original early Kenner Star Wars action figure lineup and vintage vehicle artwork.
